Rhuddlan is a historic town situated high above the River Clwyd and known for the ruins of Rhuddlan Castle, built by Edward 1 of England from 1277 and where he later held a parliament in the town. Situated inland between Rhyl and St Asaph is perfectly positioned to commute North Wales A55 Expressway. The town affords mainly amenities, shops and 18 hole golf course.

The town is a very popular residential area for family and retirement, with higher than average house prices to other areas, increasing to expensive executive homes. Rhyl, Prestatyn and St Asaph are within 5 minutes drives.
