Llanasa is about as cute as British villages get. A well-tended village of charming properties and tranquillity which demand a high value. Recipient of the Prince of Wales Award 1981, numerous awards for Wales in Bloom since 1995 and Best Kept Village since 1994
Llanasa lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has been designated a Conservation Area.
It consists of approximately 60 properties including church (circa: 15th century), a public house (The Red Lion circa 1600), converted barns, granary, private school and even it’s very own castle (Gyrn Castle, circa 1850). Situated 1 mile south of the coast within a five minute drive to Prestatyn. About a mile west of the village on a crystal clear day, the view affords a breathtaking panorama of the Snowdonia National Park, The Vale of Clwyd, The Isle of Man, The Lake District and even Ireland! Chester is roughly 30 minute drive, Trelawynd and Prestatyn within 5 minutes drive.
